Over 5.6 trillion lines have been uploaded to the platform.

Celonis is taking another step towards the autonomous enterprise by making its platform not only an analytics tool, but also a near real-time execution engine. Announced at Celosphere 2025, the Orchestration Engine and Data Core are the two technical pillars of this evolution, leveraging the Process Intelligence Graph as a digital twin of operations.

Process Orchestrator the new feature

The Orchestration Engine (Process Orchestrator) is now a core capability of the platform, designed to drive end-to-end processes rather than simple isolated tasks. It acts as a real-time control tower that coordinates systems, employees and AI agents based on events from the digital twin, automatically triggering sequences of actions. All this with low-code configuration and simplified mapping with Action Flows.

For example, for a retailer with an online marketplace, the Orchestration Engine can monitor back-end data to automatically trigger promotions on excess stock, stock transfers or spot buys in the event of stockouts, alternative product suggestions, or payment restrictions for high-risk customers – thereby optimising customer experience, working capital and costs.

The new upgraded Data Core

At the sametime, Data Core provides the high-performance data infrastructure that powers this orchestration with fresh data. Capable of loading and querying billions of rows (47,000+ active processes, 2 PB of data, 5.6 trillion rows) with some of the fastest refresh times on the market, it relies on more than 100 connectors and zero-copy integrations with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and Snowflake toleverage existing data lakes without duplication, while drastically reducing ETL and query times.

In concrete terms, this combination delivers tangible gains in sectors with high transaction volumes: near real-time fraud detection in banking, an increase from 300 GB to 15 TB of data without any loss of performance for a consumer goods company, and a ten fold improvement in data freshness and a 20-foldreduction in dashboard loading times for a large pharmacy chain.

In summary

By combining Data Core, Process Intelligence Graph and Orchestration Engine, Celonis enables companies to gradually transform their key processes into self-optimising execution chains, where AI takes care of repetitive operations and leaves teams free to focus on objectives, rules and use cases with higher added value. Celonis remains committed to a more comprehensive approach : Process Intelligence.
